The Little Sweep

Based on puppeteer and musician János Novák's concept, Attila Toronykőy stages Benjamin Britten The Little Sweep written for young audiences and performers. According to artistic director András Almási-Tóth, the opera about a child trapped in a chimney and tried to be rescued by his little friends "is a classic liberation opera translated into a children's adventure film.” The production is the latest addition the wide repertoire aimed at young audiences at the OPERA to present a new opportunity to introduce the genre to younger generations.
