It is hereby announced that following with the announcement made by the prime minister on Monday and the decision made by the Parliament on Tuesday, all performances of the Hungarian State Opera are cancelled and all venues are closed to the public until 19 December 2020.
Tickets purchased for November and December 2020 are refunded by the Opera. The expiry date of vouchers issued is extended until 31 December 2021.

They are also available in person at the Opera Sales Centre (1061 Budapest, Hajós utca 13-15.) until 13 November, at the Erkel Theatre until 15 November. Afterwards, all our ticket offices are closed, but the sales team remains available via e-mail and phone.
Information on the 2021 programmes will be made available in accordance with the lift on restrictions. For updates, please check the website of the Opera and its Facebook site.
The Opera hopes to be able to welcome audiences again soon. Until it is made possible, performances streamed online can be viewed.
