The Erkel Shop awaits visitors from Wednesday to Saturday until 23 December 2020. If you wish to browse gifts for your loved ones and even yourself, or want to experience a little advent ambiance, make your way to the Erkel Theatre.
Although the annual Nutcracker Festival at the Hungarian State Opera cannot take place during lockdown, those walking past the Erkel Theatre can marvel at the festive lights, the 7.5 metre-tall Christmas tree, and life-size puppets from the ballet The Nutcracker.
The gift shop inside the Erkel Theatre is open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, where fans of opera, ballet and classical music can find quality merchandise including books, CDs and DVDs in the OperaTrezor series as well as Nutcracker-related goods, branded masks, opera glasses and more.
