Having reached the four millionth citizen vaccinated with the first dose against COVID-19 in Hungary, theatres are allowed to open their gates to the public again.
Following this welcome news, the Hungarian State Opera opens some of its planned performances available to the public.
Giordano: Andrea Chénier (premiere) – 29 May 2021, 7:00 p.m., Erkel Theatre
Messerer–Krein: Laurencia – 5 June 2021, 7:00 p.m., Erkel Theatre
Schmidt: Notre Dame (concert performance) – 9 June 2021, 7:00 p.m., Erkel Theatre
Lully–Molière: Le bourgeois gentilhomme (premiere) – 12 June 2021, 7:00 p.m., Eiffel Art Studios
Kálmán: Kaiserin Josephine (concert performance) – 16 June 2021, 7:00 p.m., Erkel Theatre
Rossini–Mozart–Milhaud: Figaro3 (premiere) – 26 June 2021, 7:00 p.m., Eiffel Art Studios
Tickets are sold according to measures previously taken by the Opera, namely every two seats are followed by two vacant seats. Please note that attending the performances is only available with an immunity certificate which are checked upon entry according to government guidelines.
Ticket sales begin at 10:00 a.m. on 10 May 2021 online, at the Erkel Theatre box office, and the Opera Sales Centre. Vouchers and free tickets issued for cancelled performances are accepted when purchasing tickets for the above productions.
