Ballet Institute
In the 2016/17 season, the Hungarian National Ballet launched a classical ballet preparatory course which children aged 4-14 may apply to join. From the very first admissions round, the number of applicants has been higher than expected. The aim of the training is to allow young dancers to practise under professional conditions, to participate in the Opera's productions and, above all, to fall in love with dance. In a unique way, the course enables the very youngest artists to perform in front of audiences of 1800 people and to feel the taste of success and understand the need for hard work and dedicated practice.
